What you will be doing:



Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy to drive revenue growth and increase Jumia’s market share. Setting the commercial strategy of the department (sales targets, target categories/segments to unlock, target key suppliers, target number of suppliers to onboard) Managing a team in charge of vendor acquisition, account management, commercial planning and vendor support. Scaling the team and processes to support the growth of the company Recruiting adequate profiles to join the team Meeting key vendors and suppliers to negotiate partnerships, contracts and service level agreements. Ensuring regular and quality reporting of team actions and results

What we are looking for:



Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Either one of the two following: Proven track record of developing and executing successful commercial strategies. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and customers. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
