Ceded Re - Reporting & Analysis team publishes various monthly and quarterly Management Reports to support Placement, credit control team, claims team and senior management in decision making. The process involves deep analysis of information, triangulation with key parameters (Business vs region/ country) and quick turnarounds. This role will be focusing on driving the analytics to measure business performance towards Product Management, Regional Management, Legal Entity and Producing office Management.

What will your essential responsibilities include?


·Prepare and support on monthly & quarterly reports. Develop dashboards by understanding Business specifications and translating them into automated modules wherever possible.


·Prepare external report templates for treaties placed which include collecting data from finance and actuaries and put it in the required template format.


·Detailed in-depth analysis of reinsurance contracts, Interpreted and translated data to reporting requirements& conducted analysis.


·Develop and help automate the existing and new reporting requirements, keeping them standardized, but flexible enough to incorporate last-minute changes and adjustments in the fast-moving reporting environment.


·Support the designing, modelling and maintenance of the dashboard for the Ceded Re function.


·Manage the data extraction and report running out of various operational reporting tools and databases including Cognos, MIS, SQL etc.


·Participate in projects as required to ensure that all potential impacts to financial data are identified and managed effectively.


·Ensure proper documentation and audit trail for all the reports prepared.


·Maintain effective communication with onshore (both written and verbal) and manage expectations.


·Handling ad-hoc queries related to the process or new projects as and when required.


·Identify process improvements, and make and implement recommendations to streamline the process.


·Collation and management of department procedure manuals and process documentation.You will report to the Senior Manager

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:


·Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office tools like Excel & Access (Pivot, charts etc.) is a must. Working knowledge of SQL is an added advantage.


·Effective Insurance and reinsurance knowledge.


·Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills and ability to analyze and manipulate huge volumes of financial and operational data.


·Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.


·Possess excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.


·Makes recommendations to management on new processes, tools and techniques, or the development of new products and services.


·Possesses skills and awareness and consistent basic project management, analytical and application skills.


·Consistently determines and executes basic research and/or referrals resiliently.
