Director of Engineering

The newly built Anantara Jaipur Hotel marries classic opulence with contemporary comforts. The signature Indian restaurant serves cuisine fit for royalty, while the rooftop bar offers stunning views of the city along with exotic cocktails.

With magnificent standalone events facilities, the hotel will also host some of the city’s grandest weddings, with a ballroom, banquet room, pavilion, and banquet lawn that can host thousands of guests for multi-day celebrations.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be part of the leadership team and manage engineering functions with a hands-on approach.

Keys duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Ensure compliance standards are met in aspects of building, equipment, energy consumption, water, contractors, environmental, and other brand programs.
• Proactively review hotel products and carry out maintenance and general repairs to ensure the smooth operation of all hotel departments.
• Contractor Management
• Be actively involved in the Health & Safety of our guests and our team members.
• Manage capital expenditure projects!
• Develop and implement effective strategies and solutions to improve energy management, water management, and conservation.
• Drive Team Member Engagement and promote a positive team culture.

• College degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Five years operating experience in a similar capacity.
• Familiar with the operations and priorities of all other hotel operating departments.
• Familiar with the local government requirements and regulations.
• Passion for leadership.
