Position Overview:
Boeing Supply Chain team is currently looking for Experienced Supply Chain Program Management to join their team in Bangalore, India. This team seeks a highly-skilled and motivated individual.
We are a team of Supply Chain professionals in India who support the Program Management / Operational activities at suppliers for all three business units of Boeing closely collaborating with PA. Commodities include, but are not limited to: Structures, Standards, Machined/sheet metal parts. This position requires a highly motivated professional to work through the supply chain and operations process and manage post award activities.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsibilities Include leading the following activities:
Develop Technical Assessment for commodities by understanding manufacturing process and identify gaps at suppliers based on technical inputs
Participate in technical audits to identify and onboard suppliers
Experience in supplier capability assessment, gap analysis and ability to drive supplier development initiatives, coaching and mentoring of suppliers. Shall have proven track record of technical issue resolution, yield improvement, root cause analysis etc…
Able to analyze key factors and identify and assess supplier risks for respective SOW.
Form collaborative partnership with suppliers and Supplier Management to develop risk, issue and opportunity plans. Develops supplier recovery plans to support unplanned demand requirements
Evaluate information for the development and deployment of supplier management and communication plans.
Consolidate data and prepare written reports and presentations in support of supplier capability and ability to perform the SOW
Understanding of Statistical Process Capability, Process automation, IoT / Digital manufacturing techniques etc…would be added advantage
Liaise with cross functional team (Engineering, Quality, Tooling etc…) during FAI & production stage to resolve engineering queries and meet project schedule
Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, quantify and utilize information to make recommendations that support business goal.
Experience in leading process excellence effort like APQP, Kizen, 8D, 3X5 Analysis, A3…etc
Ability to train cross functional team and suppliers on process improvements tool
Specific Requirements:
Hands on experience in Aircraft parts manufacturing like machining, sheet metal parts fabrication, managing / qualifying special processes etc…would be preferred
Experience in aerospace complex Structural Assembly & Tooling (Assembly Jigs & Fixtures) will be an added advantage
Experience in NADCAP QPL & QML will be preferred.
Hands on experience in destructive and non-destructive testing and metrology (including CMM & Laser Tracker), strong understanding of GD&T will be preferred

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical, Aerospace or Production Engineering)

Good exposure to Microsoft office
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Technical degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering
Relevant experience in Program management
Operations
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience.
