Principal Engineer Mechanical

Main Purpose of the Job: To undertake FPS Engineering activities for Basic/Detail Engineering and manage a small team of Engineers and CAD Technician.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

• Conceptualisation of fire protection system.
• Knowledge of Indian Standard Code / NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) Standard FM Global/NBC - related to fire protection system.
• Hydraulic Calculation.
• Preparation of Data Sheet.
• P&ID for FPS system, Fire Hydrant System Layout/Spray & Sprinkler System Layout/Foam System Layout/Fire Water Pump House Piping layout.
• Preparation of Tender Specification.
• Reviewing model in Navisworks
• Review & approval of Vendor drawings.
• Inter-discipline co-ordination
• Planning and scheduling
• Meeting with Client.
• Monitor and mentor a team of Engineers and CAD Technicians

Essential Candidate Requirements:

• BE/BTech Mechanical Engineering
• 12+ years’ industrial experience in Consultancy Organisation.
• Experience in Chemical, Pharma, General Industry, Argo, FMCG projects.
• Knowledge in PIPNET software.
• Interpersonal skill / Team work
• Dynamic and Enthusiastic
• Sound Communication skill
• Experience in 3D Model review in Navisworks
