Senior Analyst, Third-Party Risk Management:


Join the Thomson Reuters central Third-Party Risk Management function, part of Risk & Compliance to further strengthen the control landscape and support the delivery of core processes designed to evaluate and manage risks associated with external business relationships.


About the Role


In this opportunity as Senior Analyst, Third-Party Risk Management, you will:


  • Assess the inherent and residual risk associated with third parties to TR including vendors, suppliers, partners and more, using standardized methodology, process, and toolset.


  • Screening third parties for potential red flags using both open and closed source intelligence.


  • Supporting the continuous development and enhancement of the third-party risk management framework, as well as the associated controls.


  • Ensuring risks are communicated, understood, and mitigated through appropriately defined and executed plans.


  • Further maturing third party risk reporting, leveraging data and in alignment with industry standards and relevant frameworks.


  • Providing independent review and where required, challenging risk mitigation efforts.


  • Working closely with members of the broader Risk & Compliance function, as well as CISO, Sourcing and Procurement, Accounts Payable and many other business functions, to further strengthen the Firm's risk management practices and drive the TPRM framework adoption.



About You


You're a fit for the role of Senior Analyst, Third-Party Risk Management if your background includes:


  • 5+ years of Third-Party Risk Management experience, in a similar role with hands on risk assessment experience.


  • SME fluency in at least one risk domain: ESG, Finance, BCM, Operations, Trust, Technology, Cyber and Information Security.


  • Great understanding of and hands-on experience with sourcing, procurement, contract management, supply chain and/or sourcing processes.


  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.


  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a relevant subject e.g., Business Administration / Management, Economics, Finance, Technology, Innovation.


  • Experience in the design, deployment and operationalization of Third-Party Risk Management Framework, and relevant business-process embedded controls.


  • Ability to process and draw insights from large datasets through the mastery of data analytics, data visualization and business process automation tools.


  • Working experience with GRC tools, and an ability to design and implement quality workflows and interfaces in production.


  • Hands on experience with OneTrust.


  • CTPRP - Third-Party Risk Management (Shared Assessments ™)


  • ESG such as International Association for Sustainable Economy (IASE) or Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)
