Senior Engineer - Highway Design - Germany Mobility

Role description:

Senior Design Engineer for Engineering (Roadway) Design and 3D modelling for Design & Build and State DoT projects with proficiency in various Bentley tools as mentioned in Mandatory Technical Skills. Will have to carry out design and production highway design, CAD production and 3D modeling. Experience in D & B projects –concept design, Alternative design concepts and detailed design of projects, involved in construction support. Should have handled Design –Build projects for any of international projects. Specific US experience is most desirable.

Role accountabilities:

• Responsible for the analysis and design of highways and roads.
• Design of horizontal and vertical geometrics for highways.
• Preparation of plan and profile drawings.
• Computation of quantities.
• Preparation of design reports; and,
• Ability to understand existing condition reports and surveys.
• Ability to lead and design tasks and teams
• Should have worked, preferably in Europe

Qualifications & Experience:

• B.E / B.Tech. in Civil Engineering with Masters in Transportation / Highway Engineering (Desirable)
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in Design Consulting Environment as of December 31, 2023.
• Minimum of 5 years of working experience for International Design Projects for Highway Design and minimum of 3 years of working experience for Germany / UK or any other Europeon countries projects in Designing Highways / Roadways. 
• Having work experience on Design & Build Projects is added advantage.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of Open Roads, Civil 3D, CARD, , MicroStation are essential and, AutoCAD, Navis works, clash analysis
• Experience with European Codes, Standards and Specifications
• Highway geometric design; construction support-drawings,
• Experience in MS Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Read, write, and speaks -English.

Additional Skills:

• Any International design exp-like UK, USA, Middle East, European exp
• Software: 12D, Mx Roads, Civil 3D
• Bachelor’s Degree in civil
• If exp –less, skills match as per above criteria
