About the Role


As the Lead DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading our DevOps team to new heights of technical excellence and efficiency. In addition to your technical expertise, you will be responsible for managing and developing a team of talented engineers, aligning their efforts with organizational goals, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.


Responsibilities


  • Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and execute work plans to ensure the timely delivery of projects and initiatives, aligning with organizational priorities.
  • Prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and business objectives.
  • Drive the talent development of team members through coaching, training, and mentorship programs.
  • Regularly report team progress and project status to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with other team leads to align technical strategies and initiatives across the organization.
  • Ensure adherence to standard policies, procedures, and best practices in software development and DevOps processes.
  • Conduct regular feedback sessions and one-on-one meetings with team members to provide guidance, support, and performance feedback.
  • Oversee the annual review process for team performance, setting clear objectives and providing constructive feedback to team members.

Requirements


  • Proven experience in leading and managing a DevOps team, with a focus on technical excellence and team development.
  • Strong technical skills in AWS, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, and other DevOps tools and technologies.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute complex technical projects, balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in talent development, coaching, and mentorship, with a passion for fostering a culture of learning and growth.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle processes and best practices.
  • Ability to align technical strategies with business objectives and drive continuous improvement.
