The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly experienced payments specialist to join GPS Ops Payments Infrastructure as Senior Product Owner. This is a high profile role accountable for driving the delivery of business and operational requirements for new products and changes across our Payments Infrastructure.
The Payments Infrastructure team operates across all our payment systems Cross Border / high value, Domestic & Real Time Payments, Investigations, and post processing, and is a key partner to Operations, LOB product leads and Technology.
What you’ll do:
Own and drive the delivery of the detailed requirements backlog, working closely with LOB Product Owners, as well as Operations and Technology
Liaise with all stake holders in the business areas and operations to align the product roadmap to business, IT and Ops priorities
Ensure Operational Readiness for all changes, working closely with GPS Operations (UAT, Training, End User Documentation, Ops release management)
Ensure consistency with global payment processing workflow as far as possible, driving out local changes unless driven by pressing Business, regulatory or compliance needs.
Demonstrate clear ability to challenge existing processes and practices where they do not align to the GPS Operations Target Operating model and payments infrastructure architecture
