We are looking for a Cyber Security Intern to assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of our cybersecurity programs.
As a Cyber Security Intern, your daily workload might include:
Assist in the identification and mitigation of cyber security risks and vulnerabilities. Monitor and analyse network traffic and security event logs to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. Assist in the development and implementation of cyber security policies, procedures, and standards. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our systems. Participate in the investigation and resolution of security incidents and breaches. Assist in the management of security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software. Conduct research on emerging cyber security threats and trends to inform our cyber security strategies. Assist in the development and delivery of cyber security training and awareness programs. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate cyber security risks and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.

Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security, computer science, or a related field. Good understanding of cyber security principles and techniques, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security incident response. Familiarity with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
