Sr.Planning Engineer

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr.Planning Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the planning and scheduling of projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Create and maintain project schedules, including defining project deliverables, activities, and milestones
2. Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop detailed project plans and schedules
3. Monitor project progress and identify any deviations from the plan, providing recommendations for corrective actions
4. Analyze project data and metrics to identify trends and make informed decisions regarding resource allocation and schedule adjustments
5. Ensure that project timelines are realistic and achievable, considering factors such as resource availability and project constraints
6. Communicate project status updates to stakeholders, highlighting any risks or issues that may impact the project schedule
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for improving project planning and scheduling processes
8. Provide guidance and support to project teams, ensuring that they have the necessary tools and resources to effectively manage their projects
9. Conduct regular project reviews to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement
10. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements in project planning and scheduling methodologies

Preferred Candidate:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in the construction or engineering industry
3. Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
4. Proficient in project management software, such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
9. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
10. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
