موضوع تدريب الموظفين موضوع قديم وجدلي في كثير من الاحيان، حيث يرى البعض ان تدريب الموظفين يجب ان يكون لعدد معين ومحصور ومختار بعناية من الموظفين، ويرى البعض الاخر ان تدريب الموظفين من حق الجميع، ولا يجب ان تحكمه عوامل كعدد سنوات الخبرة او العمر او المسمى الوظيفي او او... فبرأيك، هل تدريب الموظفين الذين قضوا خمس سنوات ام اكثر هو امر مُجدي بالنسبة للشركة، من حيث الفائدة التي ستعود على الشركة من خلال الخبرات المكتسبة من قبل هذا الموظف، ام ان تدريب هذا الموظف سيكون مضيعة للوقت والجهد والمال، حيث سيكون مهدد بترك الوظيفة بأي وقت، مما سيكون خسارة للشركة؟

Training and development are two activities that need to be continuing consistenetly as work is not fixed to a constant situation and as companies face a changing world, use variable technology, new methods for renewable different markets and products change. Therefore it is imperative that training and development cope with change. This is apart from the fact that the employee during his career at different stages and levels of responsibility confronts different situations e.g. selling is not sales management. The sales employee starts as a salesman, but after five years, becomes director of sales, what makes it essential train him or her for the new responsibilty to suit the requirements of different roles throughout his tenure with the organization
يجب أن يخضع جميع الموظفين، الحديثين وكذلك القدامى، إلى تدريب منظم بصورة دورية لتبادل الخبرات، وللتعرف على أحدث ما توصل إليه العلم فى مجال التخصص.
