Wilhelmsen Port Services Turkey is looking for a Ships Agency Operations Manager
The Ships Agency Operations Manager will be responsible for the port and site operations in Turkey and will actively identify new business and sales opportunities in the country and work with Port Services Sales to promote local ports towards customers.

Who we are looking for:
If you have experience from ships agency, proven management skills and possesses interpersonal skills, and are self-motivated, result oriented and not afraid to “challenge the status quo”, come join us!
What you will be working on:
• Overall responsible for the port and site operations.
• Lead a team of 2 ship agency operators based in Ataşehir office.
• Ensure that Port Services performance and service quality is according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Proactively identify new means of achieving cost savings, including vendor discounts on behalf of the principal.
• Actively identify new business and sales opportunities in the country and work with Port Services sales to promote local ports towards customers.
• Ensure profitable port operations by increasing revenue, whilst driving efficiencies to control costs.
• Ensure correct amount of pre-funding is received, or the correct level of authority has approved any deviation.
• Ensure onboarding and regular training is conducted for all employees.
• Overall Port Services QHSSE compliance within assigned country.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree within Maritime or Business management field, or alternatively work experiences compensating for formal education.
• Familiar with Local Port Authority regulations, procedures and governing tariffs.
• Ability to multitask and organize under pressure without compromising the safety of personnel and vessel.
• Good communication skills and command of the Turkish and English language (oral and written).
• Problem solving skills with ability to make fast and sound judgement.
• A valid Turkish working permit
