About the job Logistic Coordinator

Responsibilities:


  1. Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics operations, including scheduling and tracking of shipments, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
  2. Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and transportation providers to negotiate rates, arrange shipments, and resolve any transportation-related issues.
  3. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and transportation expenses, and prepare regular reports for management review.
  4. Monitor and optimize warehouse and inventory management processes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  5. Coordinate with production and procurement teams to ensure availability of materials and supplies for production schedules.
  6. Implement and maintain procedures to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in logistics operations.
  7. Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes to enhance overall efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  8. Provide support and assistance to other departments as needed to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:


  1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  3. Strong knowledge of transportation logistics, including familiarity with shipping regulations, customs procedures, and import/export documentation.
  4. Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  6. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  8. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
