Role & Responsibilities:
Brainstorming with the marketing and design team to come up with image ideas. Preparing and designing rough draft illustrations according to client specifications. Defining any budget or time limitations. Creating complete illustrations by combining painting, hand-drawn and digitally created images. Refining image design using illustration software. Enhancing the design concept using a wide range of colors and graphics. Applying complex isometric techniques to add perspective to design shapes. Ensuring that printed illustrations meet specified color and quality standards. Ensure that all illustrations meet technical requirements. Generate ideas and concepts that are clear, communicative, and engaging. Work collaboratively with other members of our creative team to ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception. Collaborate with a cross-functional team that includes marketers, creative directors, and product managers in order to create compelling illustrations. Liaising with writers, animators and directors regarding the look, style and level of detail required for the storyboard of each production
Responsibilities of a storyboard artist may include:
Liaising with writers, animators and directors regarding the look, style and level of detail required for the storyboard of each production Reading and interpreting scripts Breaking down the script with the director to identify key scenes and plan them visually Sequencing the scenes from a script into storyboard format using panels of images Including special effects in the storyboard frames Identifying lighting requirements and articulating circles of tension within each scene Including key dialogue or scene directions within each frame Briefing animators on key scenes within the storyboard Amending storyboard scenes during the course of production
Job Requirements
Excellent communication skills. Good understanding of KPIs. High Commitment and honesty! Welling to learn and add new skills ( huge impact ) A creative thinker and generate ideas outside the box. Bachelor's degree in fine arts. Portfolio of completed illustrations. Prior work experience as an Illustrator, graphic designer, or similar.
