Role Overview: As Oracle OCI Presales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and delivering cutting-edge cloud solutions for our clients. You will leverage your deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to guide our customers through the migration of workloads, ensuring seamless transitions from on-premises and other cloud environments. This role requires a strategic mindset, technical acumen, and strong leadership capabilities to drive successful presales engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
1.    Cloud Solution Architecture:
•    Architect cloud solutions for migrating workloads, demonstrating proficiency in OCI compute, storage, network, database, analytics, etc.
•    Provide implementation guidance and best practices for optimizing OCI, Exadata Cloud Systems, Oracle Apps, and related technologies.
2.    Presales Leadership:
•    Lead the development of Request for Proposal/Information responses in collaboration with internal teams.
•    Manage existing contract renewals, including scope discovery, resizing, pricing, and recommendations.
3.    Customer Engagement:
•    Engage with customers to understand their business needs and provide expert advice on Oracle Cloud technologies.
•    Facilitate escalation support for high severity issues, ensuring timely resolution and enhancing customer satisfaction.
4.    Technical Expertise:
•    Showcase deep expertise in technical domains related to OCI and Oracle technologies.
•    Develop service-based solutions around Oracle Application and Database management.
5.    Certifications and Documentation:
•    Possess relevant cloud certifications in core architecture and specializations (e.g., OCI Professional, Cloud Operations, OCI Developer, ADW, OCI Enterprise Operations).
•    Demonstrate strong technical documentation skills.
6.    Presentation and Communication:
•    Deliver compelling presentations and engage effectively with customers, showcasing the value of DXC's solutions.
7.    Project Ownership:
•    Take ownership of presales engagements, driving projects, tasks, and sales opportunities to successful completion.
•    Prioritize and manage multiple pre-sales engagements concurrently.
Qualifications and Skills:
•    Proven experience in architecting cloud solutions and leading presales activities.
•    In-depth understanding of Oracle Cloud platforms, technology, and migration processes.
•    Familiarity with Oracle Technology Licensing for databases, middleware, and add-ons.
•    Strong presentation and customer-facing skills.
•    Ability to prioritize and manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
•    Excellent technical documentation skills.
