We are seeking a dedicated and motivated product owner to build Generative AI capabilities for Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a Generative AI product owner, you will be understanding the requirements from different business units, translate them to well defined user stories and ensure that the developers deliver to the expectations.

Responsibilities 

• Work closely with business units to understand their use cases and workflows. 
• Understand requirements and break them down into user stories and tasks. 
• Define clear acceptance criteria and assist in creating test cases aligned with these criteria. 
• Think from the customer's standpoint and prioritize features based on customer value. 
• Demo features during development phase to stakeholders to get early feedback. 
• Suggest the best approach to develop features, focusing on building reusable capabilities. 
• Validate and verify deliverables of each sprint, providing timely feedback for course correction. 
• Groom stories to ensure a clear understanding of requirements. 
• Utilize Agile techniques for product development. 

Requirements 

• 4+ years of overall experience in Software development domain. 
• 2+ years of strong experience playing the Product Owner role. 
• Experience working with business units to understand their use cases and workflows. 
• Proficient in requirement understanding and breaking them down into user stories and tasks. 
• Ability to define clear acceptance criteria and assist in creating test cases. 
• Customer-centric mindset and prioritization skills. 
• Proven experience in thinking through and identifying dependencies, integrations with other modules during solutioning phase. 
• Clear thought process on how customers are going to use a feature and what needs to be delivered. 
• Knowledge of Agile techniques and their application in product development. 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills. 
• Attention to detail and a focus for quality deliverables. 
• Experience in validating and verifying deliverables. 
• Ability to provide timely feedback to development team for course correction. 
• Proven experience in grooming stories and defining product requirements.
