Job Description

Qualifications:

 1.⁠ ⁠Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or related field.

 2.⁠ ⁠Teaching certification or qualification in English language teaching (e.g., CELTA, TESOL, TEFL).

 3.⁠ ⁠Experience teaching English language and literature to elementary school students.

 4.⁠ ⁠Familiarity with the Cambridge International curriculum and assessment framework preferred.

 5.⁠ ⁠Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 6.⁠ ⁠Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.

 7.⁠ ⁠Passion for teaching and promoting language development and literacy skills.

 8.⁠ ⁠Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

 9.⁠ ⁠Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance instruction and assessment.

Responsibilities:

​

 1.⁠ ⁠Deliver high-quality instruction in English language and literature following the Cambridge International curriculum for grade 3 and 4 students.

 2.⁠ ⁠Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote language acquisition, literacy skills, and critical thinking.

 3.⁠ ⁠Use a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

 4.⁠ ⁠Assess student progress using a range of formative and summative assessments aligned with Cambridge International standards.

 5.⁠ ⁠Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their learning and growth.

 6.⁠ ⁠Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated to learn and participate.

 7.⁠ ⁠Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and instructional practices across grade levels.

 8.⁠ ⁠Stay informed about current trends and best practices in English language teaching and integrate them into classroom instruction.

 9.⁠ ⁠Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of Cambridge International curriculum.

10.⁠ ⁠Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, assessments, and academic goals.
