About the Role:


  • As a Cloud Network Engineer you will involved in providing in-depth subject matter expertise and technical leadership for the current and future delivery, support and maintenance of production services in the technical operations environment.


  • Acts as a change agent to continually improve operational processes and procedures.


  • Manage the technical recovery of production service during major incidents. Provides technical input and analysis to tactical and strategic planning.


About You:


You're fit for the role of Cloud Network Engineer, if your background includes:


  •  Years of Experience: 2 - 5 Years


  • Developing and refining networking solutions for cloud specifically AWS, but also working with other cloud providers and their landing zone services, tools, and solutions.


  • Keep up to date with emerging cloud technology trends – open source and cloud vendors such as AWS and Azure.


  • Work in a highly collaborative and dynamic agile team environment with multiple levels of technical staff across various geographical locations.


  • Support employee development by working one-on-one with staff to define and maintain goals, provide performance feedback and coaching regularly.


  • Apply principles of trust, transparency, accountability, and ownership.


  • AWS and Azure cloud providers, focusing on AWS landing zone services, tools, and processes.


  • PaaS (Platform as a Service) or IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) solutions.


  • Discrete microservices with simple repeatable cloud-native architectural patterns.


  • Continuous delivery and Infrastructure automation tools such as AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeCommit,Git, Terraform/ CloudFormation.


  • Programming languages such as Python.


  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking as well as Cloud Load Balancers, Route53, Security Groups, VPC’s, VPN Gateways, Elastic IP’s, Subnets, Route tables, and NAT configuration.


  • Network Security best practices for cloud.


  • Serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda or Azure Functions.


  • Cloud Monitoring such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail and DataDog.


  • Bachelor's degree in related technology program preferred with AWS Cloud and Networking on AWS Cloud.


  • Experience in managing the checkpoint firewall infrastructure for the cloud.


  • Experience in troubleshooting network/connectivity /DNS issues.


  • Familiar with monitoring setup for the network layer.


  • Good Problem solving and communication skills.


  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python.


  • Comfortable working in Windows and *Nix environments including writing scripts
