About the team

This role is for our MBP – Implementation Team. This team is involved in Design, code, test, implement, maintain and support applications software that is delivered on time and within budget. Work closely with customers, business analysts and team members to understand business requirements that drive analysis and design of quality technical solutions ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies and complying with FIS architectural standards.
 

What you will be doing:

• Administrator will be responsible for installation and Configuration of Hadoop, Deployment of applications across multiple Clusters and Instance and Cloudera cloud environment setup.
• Monitoring of the environment, User provisioning, Security Policies and providing the best practices.
• Responsible for implementation and support of the Enterprise Hadoop environment also Involves designing, capacity arrangement, cluster set up, performance fine-tuning, monitoring, structure planning, scaling and administration.
• The administrator consultant will work closely with infrastructure, network, database, business intelligence and application teams to ensure business applications are highly available and performing within agreed on service levels.
• Need to implement concepts of Hadoop eco system such as YARN, MapReduce, HDFS, HBase, Zookeeper, Pig and Hive.
   

What you bring:

• 5+ years of experience in Hadoop Admin and Cloudera experience.
• Hands on experience into Linux, SQL, Python and Shell Scripting is required.
• Open Shift, Kubernetes and Azure Cloud knowledge will be added advantage.
• Strong analytical, statistical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to utilize judgment in decision making process and decisions related to job tasks.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of FIS’ products and services.
• Knowledge of the business goals, objectives, and business operations for the appropriate FIS organization.
• Knowledge of financial services industry.
