Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:


·Provide technical insight and critical thinking ability to business support partners using effective communication in business terms or technical terms where appropriate


·Responsible for troubleshooting technical issues in managed enterprise applications


·Define, document, and implement support processes that clearly provide visibility and ensure accountability across multiple stakeholders.


·Proactively define, analyze, and report support metrics and SLAs to teams, product management and IT leadership.


·Identify measurable opportunities for improvement in delivering support services and technology


·Administration, support, and maintenance of tools, including but not limited to Zendesk and Auth0 utilized within the custom software delivery pipeline.


·Maintain current high-level working knowledge of how custom software interacts with support tooling


·Work with IT, business functions, external vendors, and contract resources to deliver support requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner.


·Help to clarify, identify, and track requirements and issues and escalate to immediate manager where required.


Required Skills and Competencies


·Bachelor degree in an information technology related discipline


·2+ years of experience in the support and administration of enterprise applications


·Be apt at quickly understanding new business domains and be creative and thoughtful about applying technology to improve processes and issues.


·Able to communicate well verbally and in writing, with various team members in roles that are both technical and non-technical.


·Facilitate actions with employees at all levels including internal business partners, other technology teams, external suppliers/consultants, service providers, etc.


·Ability to identify issues, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis


·Be self-motivated to stay current with external tools, technologies and processes in information technology


·Be a strong team-player delivering on your own responsibilities while being respectful of other team members.


·Work well in teams that may be globally co-located.


·Familiarity with modern web languages and frameworks, examples include ASP.NET, Node.js, SQL and JavaScript frameworks


Preferred Skills and Competencies:


·Experience with customer support and Identity Provider platforms including Zendesk and Auth0


·Understand the cloud computing paradigm using services such as Azure


·Demonstrated knowledge in software development methodologies and best practices


·Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment while providing consistent application lifecycle management
