QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven Tech Builder: 12+ years of experience leading the design and development of groundbreaking deep tech solutions within a fast-paced startup environment; a "roll-up-your-sleeves" mentality and a passion for bringing complex ideas to life
• Advanced Cloud architect expertise: showcase in-depth knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and a proven ability to design and implement robust cloud-native architectures; this includes containerization technologies, serverless computing, and automated infrastructure provisioning expertise
• Data engineering and Analytics proficiency: possess a solid understanding of data engineering concepts and data science techniques; you should be able to leverage data to inform your strategic recommendations and measure the success of your solutions
• System design thinking: holds deep expertise in system design and builds systematic processes to ensure products and services meet quality standards
• Thorough experience with cutting edge technologies: demonstrate a proven track record of staying ahead of the technology curve by actively researching and evaluating emerging trends in areas like AI/ML, IoT, and advanced cloud solutions; you should be able to translate these trends into tangible solutions and advise clients on their potential impact
• Exemplary consulting experience with a startup focus: 3+ years of experience successfully guiding high-profile clients through complex technology challenges in a startup environment; your experience should highlight success stories where you've implemented innovative solutions to ensure technology resiliency, optimize data strategy, and enhance engineering productivity
• High on external radiation: ideally, your experience comes from a well-respected tech startup or a recognized deep tech research institution; you have a strong reputation within the industry and are known for your thought leadership and ability to generate impactful solutions

As part of McKinsey Digital's core technology consulting service, you will be based in our Bengaluru, Gurugram, or Mumbai office. This group combines the best of McKinsey’s digital capabilities to help our clients use digital technology to transform their businesses.
As part of this group, you’ll join a global team working on everything from IT modernization and strategy to agile, cloud, data, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. You’ll typically work on projects across all industries and functions and will be fully integrated with the rest of our global firm. You’ll also work with colleagues across McKinsey & Company to help our clients deliver breakthrough products, experiences, and businesses on technology and non-technology topics.
