The Risk Analytics and Data Services (RADS) team drives value creation through data solutions, advanced analytics and innovative technologies. The Risk Data Management vertical within RADS focuses on data delivery solutions supporting regulatory disclosures across corporate functions, including but not limited to Treasury, Controllers, Credit Risk and Compliance.  Interaction with internal and external auditors is required to substantiate the completeness and accuracy of the data deliverables. The Risk Data Management team is responsible for ensuring the end to end sourcing, integration, application delivery and data integrity for financial, non-financial and compliance data consumers.  


Job title: Senior Analyst
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant experience (preferably in BFSI sector)


Job Duties    
• Utilize SQL to integrate intricate data sets, conduct data profiling and analysis to solve complex data problems that will drive strategic business    decisions. 
• Develop dashboards and create ad-hoc reporting as needed using self-service tools like Power BI, Incorta, Tableau, etc. 
• Perform data analysis to support inquiries from line of business leaders using data visualization tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and/or issues.  
• Review design documents to independently understand complex data transformations and data integrations as part of the root cause analysis process to resolve data issues. 
• Self-driven individual with the ability to work independently and on multiple activities concurrently 


Qualification
Bachelor’s in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology or a related field and/or equivalent work experience 


Skills Required
• Strong data engineering skills, including database systems development, data architecture and data modelling
• Highly proficient in writing SQL code
• Experience in at least one  data visualization tool (Power BI, Tableau, etc. ) 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with robust communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic working knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Experience working within risk management in a Banking/Financial Services industry is preferred
