The position

As a Senior IT Quality Advisor, you will play a crucial role in coordinating IT QA activities for our DD&IT in India and Denmark. You will provide subject matter expert support for system, service, and project managers, ensuring optimal use of quality-related processes to meet business challenges. Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring fulfillment of Quality Assurance (QA) responsibilities and IT QA support for IT systems, services, and projects in your portfolio.
• Providing coaching and direction for IT employees in quality and compliance tasks.
• Acting as a Line of Business QA for IT and supporting the IT Quality management team in implementing strategic goals.
• Responsible for running several cross-organizational projects.Driving organizational change management activities anchored in DD&IT QA.
• Experience in participating in audits and inspections, including finding solutions to compliance gaps. Advising IT projects in quality matters to contribute to the achievement of project goals.
• Working experience in providing IT quality advisory for emerging technologies like cloud infrastructure, robotics, AI/ML. Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements and internal requirements to keep systems in compliance.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• You will be holding a bachelor’s degree in relevant subject with 12+ years of experience having 3+ years of practical experience in GLP/ GMP/ GCP/ pharmacovigilance areas.
• Good to have experience as an ISO 9000 Lead Auditor or equivalent IT quality auditing experience.
• Strong knowledge of maintaining a Quality Management System and certificates
• Good at problem handling and prioritizing the work according to the business impact of tasks.
• Excellent decision-making skills.
• 5+ years of practical experience in GxP areas (GLP, GMP, and GCP) and internal requirements to keep systems in compliance.
• 3+ years of experience in IT governance for IT projects with exposure to regulatory affairs or equivalent experience.

About the department

The IT QA department at Novo Nordisk is an extended unit of our Denmark office. We support various system and service portfolios across DD&IT Novo Nordisk. Our focus is on providing high-quality services using simple and agile processes to ensure compliance.  The IT QA team leverages the knowledge and experience of IT and quality assurance to provide three main services: Quality Management, Quality Assurance, and Quality Support.
