Job Description

Come lead the product team responsible for the infrastructure to moderate 10B+ ads. The mission of the Advertising Trust team is to guide advertisers through the trust lifecycle of policy, moderation, and ad placement across Amazon advertising. We create advertiser trust and protect the shopper experience across billions of ads world-wide.
We are seeking an experienced infrastructure leader who can support a team of PMTs on our journey to scale Amazon's ads business for the next 10B+ ads. Your customers are all of Amazon's ad products, our shoppers who expect a defect-free experience, our advertisers who expect predictable and fast moderation decisions. Our infrastructure today spans machine learning, human review, labeling, and more. We're actively experimenting with large language models (LLMs) and other cutting-edge technology. We're seeking a leader who can expand a team culture of high-performance and high impact. Our business, our team, and our ambitions are all rapidly growing.
Key job responsibilities
You will talk to internal and external customers regularly to find out what they need, but also to keep a firm pulse on where the industry is trending.
You’ll work with other advertising teams to deliver solutions from the moment of ad creation to the moment an ad is placed in front of a shopper.
You are technical, data-driven and get into the details, perform market analyses, usability studies, and study customer usage patterns to evolve features.
You know how to create a healthy team culture, hire and develop the best talent, and how to raise the bar on expectations and impact.
You're managed teams of at least 3 PMTs before
A day in the life
• Work with customers to understand their use cases and existing solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to drive the product roadmaps.
• Fluently translate customer needs into solutions across UI and APIs.
• Address bottlenecks, provide customer input, anticipate and make trade offs and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
• Partner with multiple teams across geographic locations with varying sets of priorities to ensure a timely delivery of the solution.
• Clarify and drive project commitments as well as establish and maintain clear chains of accountability.
• Conduct training and outreach to internal support teams as well as external customers
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Bangalore, KA, IND
- 3+ years of team management experience
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience leading cross-functional software development teams, operations , UX Designer and other Product Managers
