What we're looking for:


MEMAC Ogilvy is seeking a dynamic Senior Account Executive to act as a crucial conduit between our valued clients and our creative and strategic internal teams. In this role, you will be entrusted with managing day-to-day client relationships, driving projects forward, and ensuring the delivery of top-tier advertising solutions.


To Succeed in This Role, You Need To:


· Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, managing all logistical and strategic aspects of advertising projects.


· Cultivate strong, constructive relationships with clients and agency personnel to facilitate effective campaign execution.


· Demonstrate acute listening skills and a deep understanding of advertising strategies, including the drivers of profit and loss.


· Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of project estimates and invoicing, maintaining rigorous financial oversight.


· Apply a comprehensive understanding of the communications mix and show discernment in creative judgment.


· Utilize Ogilvy's 360 Brand Stewardship and discipline-specific tools to enhance campaign effectiveness.


· Manage the administrative aspects of client accounts with efficiency, and produce regular status reports.


· Coordinate internal and client meetings, ensuring smooth preparation and follow-up, including accurate documentation and filing.


· Foster excellent interdepartmental relationships, particularly with creative teams, to stimulate an environment conducive to developing exceptional work.


· Monitor competitive advertising and product activity to inform strategic decision-making.


· Respond promptly to client inquiries and demonstrate unwavering drive and commitment to producing outstanding advertising.


· Collaborate with creative teams to craft compelling presentation materials for new work.


· Oversee budget control based on directives from Account Managers/Directors, and liaise regularly with Financial/Production Controllers.


· Resolve Work Progress (WIP) issues expeditiously and manage client payment follow-ups and invoice queries with promptness.


· Conduct job reconciliations within three months of completion and support the Account Manager in campaign production.


· Regularly update and consult with the Traffic Manager regarding job statuses and close out completed jobs promptly.


· Prepare and gain client approval for timing plans and estimates, providing clear deadlines and accommodating standard brief timings.


· Promptly inform clients of any revisions to timing plans or estimates, securing approval for supplementary estimates when needed.


 


Qualifications:


· Proven experience in account management within an advertising agency environment.


· Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.


· A passion for creative collaboration and a strong understanding of the advertising landscape.


· Proficient in using Ogilvy's specific tools and methodologies.


· Financial acumen about budget management and invoicing.


· Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
