RESPONSIBILITIES :
• Compiling, analyzing, classifying, and recording the financial transactions in the books.
• Thorough knowledge of AR, AP, Fixed Asset, Inventory, Banking, Intercompany & supply chain activities.
• Handling & managing Petty Cash and Staff Personal Accounts.
• Review and transfer the staff payroll through the bank and record it in the books of accounts.
• Preparing the suppliers’ cheque payments and bank transfers.
• Following up with the accounts receivable and collections from customers
• Thorough knowledge of banking, and bank reconciliation.
• Reviewing and reconciliation of all bank accounts and credit cards and Knet machines POS transactions and bank positions monitoring
• Provides support on daily transactions for the management’s review and signature.
• Responsible for monthly closing process & related adjustments.
• Interacting with Internal & External auditors in completing the audit process
• Handles bank reconciliation, prepares monthly P&L reports, balance sheets, Cashflow, etc.,
EDUCATION / OTHER:
• Commerce graduate from any internationally recognized university.
• Any additional accounting certificate is an added advantage.
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Candidates with Article 18 and residing in Kuwait are preferred.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Candidate with 5+ years of accounting experience in different sectors.
• Hands-on experience with all accounting functions including AP/AR, GL, cash flow management, financial reporting, and P&L reports.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel & Accounting Software (ERP)
• Computer literate with extensive IT knowledge.
• An ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines whilst ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
