Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in API testing automation, with programming knowledge in Java or Python. In addition to technical proficiency, strong analytical and communication skills are essential for this role. Candidates with a background in airline pricing and revenue management will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for API testing using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design appropriate test cases.
• Execute test cases and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in software testing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in API testing automation using tools such as Selenium, Postman, or similar.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Prior knowledge of airline pricing and revenue management concepts is highly desirable.
