Being a Gym Instructor at one of the largest and most prestigious hotel chain in the world means that to maintain a high standard of service is imperative by keeping up the image of the hotel and providing a star class service even in the gymnasium. An ICH gym instructor must also assist in the promotion of the facility as having a winning edge over other competitors. Teamwork as in any other job at the IHG plays a major role in our Hotel and as a Gym Instructor one must work cordially alongside a professional team staff and report directly to the Recreation Centre Supervisor.

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
Ensure Guest satisfaction by being attentive, courteous and responsive. Instruct clients about techniques for postural improvement and stretching, strengthening and relaxation Demonstrate service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company standards including: Being attentive to Guests. Accurately and promptly fulfilling Guests requests. Anticipate Guests’ needs. Maintain a high level of on-the-job knowledge which affects the Guest experience. Maintaining a service oriented attitude at all times. Taking appropriate action to resolve guest complaints. Communicates to his/her superior any difficulties, guest or internal customer comment and other relevant information.
What We need from you:
● Communication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to ● Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guest leaves with great memories ● Fluency in the local language - extra language skills would be great, but not essential ● Literate and tech-savvy - you’ll need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic maths and computer skills
