Job Description

Duties, Responsibilities & Key Tasks:


  • Receiving inspection of TRS Equipment’s Conventional & CRT, New Equipment’s & Equipment received from suppliers after Servicing & Maintenance.
  • Pre job inspection of TRS Job Package (Conventional & CRT) Equipment’s.
  • Assuring quality parameters are being met as per OEM requirements for all Equipment’s & Tools.
  • Witness and approve function test of all TRS equipment’s.
  • Dimensional inspection of TRS equipment (CRT & Handling Tools).
  • Verify Third party inspection certificates and review the inspection complies to NDE Procedures and International Standards.
  • Review Inspection checklist for all TRS Equipment’s.
  • Review and verify TRS equipment job package as per OEM & Customer requirements.
  • Release of tools and equipment after satisfactory inspection as per requirements of Checklists and OEM Manual.
  • Witness and review periodic maintenance performed and verify the maintenance job package.
  • Assist and face inspections and Audits performed by customers.
  • Maintaining the calibration status and calibration of measuring instruments, gauges and maintain records.
  • Identification and maintaining inspection status of tools and equipment’s.
  • Identification of non-conforming equipment’s and tools with information and report to QC/Production superiors and raising NCRs
  • Review of TRS Job Package for all completed jobs and verify all records in place as per job package checklist.
  • Maintaining records of Tools & Equipment’s inspection.
  • Identify and quarantine the tools and equipment’s failed in inspection suitably to prevent unintended use and inform Operations Manager/Supervisor for necessary measures.
  • Report all TRS NPT/Failures and involve in investigation to identify root causes and initiate corrective actions.
  • Any other related duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

Qualifications

Education / Qualification:


  • Any Degree or Diploma certification in mechanical engineering is preferable

Experience:


  • 2 -5 years relevant working experience in Quality Control (Tubular Running Services)

Technical Skills:


  • Knowledge on TRS tools and equipment related to Oil and Gas industry
  • Understanding on quality aspects and pre/post Servicing & Functional/Operational inspection of TRS tools & Equipment’s
  • Basic Knowledge of OEM Engineering drawings & OEM Manuals of Tools & Equipment

Administrative Skills:


  • Work under pressure with minimum supervision and meet tight deadlines.
  • General understanding of OEM drawings, OEM Manual and process documents.
  • English written & spoken skill is must.
