This is a rare opportunity to work for one of UAE's longest standing, well run and well respected architectural practices in Dubai, at a Design Director level.
We're currently working with them to find an Architectural Design Director who already has experience at a Director level and can demonstrate their capabilities and has already designed projects in the region at pre-concept and concept design stage.
Previous experience must include:
Running project teams
Produce freehand sketch designs.
Assisting senior management to improve overall company performance
Lead and liaising with clients, sub-consultants, local authorities, project managers, service providers and external stakeholders.
Effective managerial oversight of design and documentation processes, client submissions, authorities and other service providers.
Ensuring a high level of quality within your project team.
Working with a diverse multicultural team.
Well versed in understanding commercial contracts.
Leading meetings with teams, stakeholders, consultants, sub-consultants and contractors.
Well versed with terms of business agreements and understanding of payment processes.
Requirements
Bachelors in Architecture
Minimum of 15 years professional experience
You must have experience working on Middle East projects however it's not essential that you're already based in UAE
A design-led background essential so the understanding of the original design concept intentions can be preserved.
