Overview of the role :
As an AutoCAD Drafter, you will be responsible for creating 2D drawings using AutoCAD software. If you have a strong attention to detail and are able to work independently, then we want you on our team!
What you will do :
Create 2D CAD drawings for ELV & Security Projects (Structured Cabling, CCTV, ACS, Gate Barrier, Parking Management System, GRMS, BMS etc. Program 2D CAD drawings using AutoCAD Study architectural and structural drawings, blueprints, and other job-related documents and prepare specifications, quantities, and drawings of proposed work Use CAD software to create accurate drawings Prepare shop drawings and shop bills of materials and procure materials as needed Track inventory and notify management of shortages or overages Build models, shop drawings, and 3D drawings Build and test prototypes
Required skills to be successful :
Knowledge of building codes, standards, and practices (Etisalat & DU), Sira Requirements (Dubai) MCC Requirements (Ahu), SSD & SVG Drawings. Knowledge of construction methods and technologies, and ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts.
What equips you for the role :
3+ years of drafting experience in ELV and Security Systems, including experience with AutoCAD Certification in AutoCAD
