Position: Production Manager (Marine Division)

Job Description:


As the General Manager of our Marine Division, you will be responsible for leading a team of 60-70 professionals and overseeing all operations related to mechanical works, including engines, deckworks, and other marine equipment. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining and enhancing our reputation for delivering exceptional services to our clients.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Leadership: Provide effective leadership to the team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  2. Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the Marine Division, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services.
  3. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with ship owners, charter companies, and other clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
  4. Business Development: Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion, developing strategies to capitalize on them.
  5. Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, prioritizing safety and quality in all operations.
  6. Financial Management: Manage the division's budget effectively, optimizing resources and controlling costs to maximize profitability.
  7. Vendor Management: Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
  8. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on the division's performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.

Requirements:


  1. Minimum 15 years of experience in the marine industry, with a strong background in mechanical works.
  2. Proven track record of success in dealing with ship owners, charter companies, and other stakeholders.
  3. Experience in working with ADNOC and ARAMCO charter vessels is highly desirable.
  4. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  5. Strong business acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and profitability.
  6. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
