You can make your mark as a quantity surveyor by managing contractual risks and responsibilities relating to the small and medium size complexity project(s) and analysing cause and effects of costs.

You will be involved in international project assignments, working on a rotation of six weeks followed by four weeks of leave. Flexibility is key, as you may transition between projects for short- or long-term assignments.

Your responsibilities as a quantity surveyor

• Preparing, monitoring and following-up contract documents.
• Analysing cause and effect of costs, including bill of quantities.
• Assisting project manager in establishing client's requirements and undertaking scope of work analysis.
• Performing risk and value management and variations control.
• Identifying and analysing project risks and making recommendations.
• Developing and implementing a proper project administration, including the administration of variation orders and claims.
• Contributing to handling contractual claims and variation orders.

Your qualities and experience
You can move ahead as quantity surveyor if you have:

• Higher Professional Education (Bachelor): Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering or similar.
• At least five (5) years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge in international construction contracts such as FIDIC / LOGIC contracts is an advantage.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and strong teamwork skills.

• Your team: You will be part of our  contract management and legal team, based in The Netherlands.
• Where you will work: You will be working on our international projects on a rotational scheme of six (6) weeks on and followed by four (4) weeks off.
• Full/part-time job: The position of quantity surveyor is a full-time job.
