University Preparatory Program Coordinator

Description



As the Pathway Program Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing, promoting, and enhancing our Pathway Academy programs. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks aimed at increasing awareness, supporting students, facilitating communication, organizing activities, and ensuring the smooth coordination, operation, and running of the academy's multiple programs.

Requirements



Duties and Responsibilities



1. Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure smooth operation of Pathway Academy programs and initiatives, making sure to collaborate and cooperate where necessary with admissions, academic departments, student services, support departments, and any other relevant stakeholders to streamline processes and address any challenges that may arise.
2. Develop and implement effective promotion campaigns via collaborating with the marketing and communications department, making sure to You actively participate in the development and execution of the campaigns with the goal to increase awareness and enrollment in the Pathway Academy programs.
3. Provide student support and guidance, serving as a point of contact for students, to address their inquiries and concerns, as well as provide guidance on academic and extracurricular activities which may include academic advising, assisting with course selection, and providing information on resources and support services.
4. Support faculty members via providing administrative assistance which may include filing and administrative tasks, organizing schedules, facilitating communication between staff and students, coordinating meetings, preparing materials, and ensuring effective communication channels are in place.
5. Coordinate communication efforts which includes disseminating important information to students, faculty, and staff through various channels such as emails, newsletters, and social media platforms. You will ensure that relevant updates, deadlines, and announcements are effectively communicated to all stakeholders.
6. Plan and organize a variety of academic and non-academic activities aimed at enhancing student learning experiences which will include workshops, seminars, guest lectures, field trips, and other extracurricular events. Ensuring that all stakeholders are involved in the process where necessary, such as collaborating with other departments and external partners to ensure successful implementation of these activities.
7. Maintain accurate records and documentation related ensuring safekeeping of records and data confidentiality related to student and faculty interactions. In addition to maintaining data associated with program activities, and promotional campaigns, student progress, compiling data, reports generation, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
8. Stay updated on education trends and best practices via continuously staying updated on the latest education trends, research, and best practices to improve Pathway Academy offerings and services which may involve engaging in ongoing learning opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills.
9. Perform other duties as reasonably required by management.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in; Education, Management, Communication, Human Resource Management, Marketing or any other related field (Master's degree preferred). Professional certification in Project Management is preferred.

Experience Required



Minimum of 3-5 years of experience, preferably in an academic or higher education setting. Previous experience in program coordination, project management, student support, or a similar role within an educational setting.

Skills and Competencies Required



Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in database management systems. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, and external partners. Ability to work independently and responsibly while managing numerous projects simultaneously.* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
