About the department
Global Finance GBS Bangalore was established in 2007 and is currently responsible for supporting Accounting, Finance & Procurement, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for Headquarters, region Europe, North America, International Operations (IO), and GBS Bangalore. Our department’s main purpose is to provide superior service to our stakeholders consistently and add value to the processes in terms of standardization and efficiency.
The position
As an Associate Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will have the opportunity to:
Manage overall operational performance (process and people) in P2P GBS, ensure Sarbox (SOX) compliance for Finance GBS, including identifying improvements to internal controls and processes. Support management decisions with focus on overall process improvements and organizational development. Demonstrates supervisory and analytical skills including coordinating day-to-day prioritizing of tasks and balancing workload across the team.
Ability to lead a 10-15-member team, administers the performance appraisal process within the team. Monitors job performance of team members and provide constructive feedback. Actively works with staff to assess training requirements and develops plans to ensure staff needs are addressed. Coordinates processes and reviews Customer support function. Ability to recognize unusual transactions, trends, or variations and communicate findings and recommendations to management.
