Job Description Summary:
Software Development Engineers are entry/mid-level professionals that design, build, develop and deploy software applications, tools, platforms and services that enable current and future needs of our customers.
A Software Development Engineer may assist their colleagues and more junior Software Development Engineer team members by solving problems, providing technical guidance, training and mentoring others. Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, an innovative mindset, the ability to solve complex problems and deep technical ability in software development programming within an agile environment will be key for success.
About the Role:
As a Cloud Engineer you will involved in providing subject matter expertise for current and future delivery, support and maintenance of production services.
Acts as a change agent to continually improve operational processes and procedures.
Analyse customer requirements, design and implement solutions customized to business requirements
Provide consulting and include measures to improve overall efficiency of the service
Provides technical input and analysis to tactical and strategic planning.
You're fit for the role of Cloud Engineer if your background includes:
Years of Experience: 2 - 5 Years
Research and analyse problems with supervision and escalate issues as appropriate.
Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on, and resolved in a timely manner.
Regularly communicates and shares knowledge with team.
Work in a highly collaborative and dynamic agile team environment with multiple levels of technical staff across various geographical locations.
Apply principles of trust, transparency, accountability, and ownership.
Good Problem solving and communication skills.
Experience in troubleshooting of the following: Compute / Storage / Networking /OS / Databases
Experience in Informational Technology operations
Keep up to date with emerging cloud technology trends – open source and cloud vendors such as AWS and Azure.
Knowledge on Scripting languages such as Python
Cloud Monitoring such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail and DataDog.
Familiar with monitoring setup for On-prem and Cloud Compute.
Developing and refining solutions for cloud specifically AWS, but also working with other cloud providers and their landing zone services, tools, and solutions.
