This position will lead delivery of the KBS solutions focusing on establishing the Diversey F&B values in the area’s of Knowledge-Based Services, and be responsible for the achievement of corresponding financial and non-financial objectives. The KBS Area leader will extensively collaborate with Regional KBS Leader, Area Sales Director and Sales management, Area and International Sector specialist Global and local Engineering to achieve growth and profitability objectives. The KBS Area leader will lead the Sector Specialist within the Area. Travel requirement would be approximately 50-60% of the time, including overnight and international travel. The role will also be responsible to drive timely generation of high quality knowledge capital, case studies and scale out new best in class C&S + WT solutions. The incumbent will also focus on contract negotiations in key customers and provide support to large customers (Global or Key Regional) in coordination with Global Strategic Account team, Regional Sales teams, Global KBS team. Other responsibilities include (but not limited to): 1. Collecting voice of the customers and to provide inputs for product and engineering innovation. 2. Support the culture of innovation within F+B and lead identification and pursuit of opportunities Food and Beverage markets. 3. Acquire, develop, coach and retain F+B talent 4. Identify and address training needs and ensure F+B personnel are consistently well trained EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND REQUIREMENTS Education/Experience: Degree from a certified University or College in chemistry, microbiology or food science, business related or MBA desired. 7 to 10years of experience in sales account management or sector specialist or application engineer, plant management, quality assurance, or relevant project management roles. Expertise in defining and articulating integrated value propositions; demonstrated success in direct consultative account sales role with increasing levels of supervision and responsibility, including financial. Good understanding of management accounting Demonstrated team management and leadership capabilities in a selling environment. Expertise in delivering and demonstrating value delivered to customers. Capabilities and Strengths: Fluent in the English language, both spoken and written. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken) and cross cultural agility. Good technical skills. Strong presentation skills with ability to convey complex information to a broad audience. Strong financial acumen with demonstrated ability to control margins while generating revenue, and communicate effectively to stakeholders. Possession of knowledge and skills needed to resolve wide and varied situations while being able to implement concrete recommendations and decisions. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task while being flexible with changing demands. Excellent planning and execution skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Demonstrated sales skills and/or training with ability to utilize consultative sales techniques. Demonstrated persuasiveness and solid negotiation skills. Willingness to travel internationally. Travel may be extensive at times. Ability to work independently as well as thrive in a cooperative work environment while working confidently with higher management.
