About the role:.

STS is a major group in capital markets which comprises of various groups like test automation, data migration and Business Analysis. This role is for automation engineer in automation team performing duties as listed below.

About the team: 

Testing Services

• Horizontal functional that provides Testing Services to clients around their UAT and product upgrades.
• Team comprises of specialized SMEs in Treasury and Lending domain and Automation experts
• The team works with clients to understand their functional test scenarios when implementing the FIS product and then automate these scenarios.
• They help accelerate the time to value and Go Live for our customers.
• Team comprises of specialized BAs and Automation experts with Selenium skills.

Data Migration

• Team focuses on Data migration of client data from legacy / 3rd party systems into FIS product
• This team consists of specialist in Adeptia, PL / SQL, SSIS with solid domain knowledge of Lending, Risk and Treasury products.

What you will be doing:

As an automation engineer, you will be working on Client or internal engagement with full responsibilities in terms of completing the automation within the prescribed time and with the highest quality. Candidate will also be responsible for a clear and timely communication for the projects they would be working on. Escalate problems in timely manner and take them to closure with dedicated efforts.

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
• Min 6-10 Years experience overall and major experience in automation.
• Hands-on experience on QA Automation tools (Selenium with Java)
• Hand-on experience in building automation frameworks (Java)
• Hands-on Scripting languages (Java, Selenium)
• Ability to analyze and solve problems using learned techniques and tools
• Ability to translate client requirements to technical specifications and participate in automation.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to lead team of 3-4 people.

Added bonus if you have:

• Exposure to agile methodologies for development.
• Knowledge of test management tool like JIRA, Test rail.
• Ability to lead team of 3-4 people.
