Performance Testing Engineer

What you will be doing -
- Following best practices / methodologies thorough understanding of the technology roadmap, advancement to design/development process and providing innovative solutions
- Plays a key role in resolving technical roadblocks involving multiple technologies.
- Works with Tech Leads to ensure that assigned work is completed efficiently, meets business requirements, stays within scope, and is delivered on time
- Responsible for writing technical documents.
- Continually improve quality of development team deliverable
- Ensures code reviews, unit testing and integration testing is completed efficiently and effectively.
- Participate in production deployment of the application components that needs to be implemented.
- Assisting in the identification, isolation, resolution and communication of problems within the production environment
What you bring -
- Expert in performance testing concepts
- Experience on creating performance test plan and strategy with excellent requirement gathering abilities.
- Expert in load test, soak test, fail-over test,
- Expert in Apache Jmeter tool (with Grafana, Influx DB) for performance testing
- Expert in monitoring using Dynatrace. Exposure to Splunk is added advantage.
- Experience of working on technology like Java, .Net, Oracle, MS SQL, micro services-based architecture.
- Experience with bottleneck identification in application on App, Web, DB or any middle-ware
- Experience with JIRA or Rally for Defect management.
- Effectively communicates with various stakeholders.
- Controls and manages daily test activities in individual capacity.
- Other related duties assigned as needed.
Skills –
- Experience on open-source monitoring tools is good to have like - Prometheus, Open Telemetry, ELK, Apache Skywalking
- Experience of working on Cloud - Azure/AWS
- Experience with BitBucket for repository.
- Experience with UI performance testing (End-User Experience).
- Must have hands on experience on Jmeter minimum 6+ years.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

- Fluent in English.
- Excellent communicator – ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion.
- Attention to detail – track record of authoring high quality documentation.
- Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements.
- Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team.
