About the role: The Identity and Access Management organization within Takeda is looking for an SSO engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions using Okta. The position leads infrastructure components, provides escalation support and provides 3rd level support according to ITIL processes and Takeda's SOPs. As part of the Identity and Access Management team, the role reports to the Head of Security Authentication Services.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain Takeda’s SSO solutions using Okta.
• Onboard applications using SAML, OAuth, OpenID protocol.
• Provide L2/L3 support with escalations to vendor.
• Willing to work in shifts.
• Guiding and training team members
• Joining major incident meetings and representing Security Authentication Services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure seamless integration of SSO solutions with other systems.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SSO-related issues.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in SSO technology and make recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in designing and implementing SSO solutions using Okta.
• Understanding of Entra ID a plus
• Strong understanding of SSO concepts and technologies.
• Living and breathing SAML, OAuth, OpenID and SCIM
• Ability to create REST API scripts using postman.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
