DevOps Engineer

INTECH IIS applications - built on its proprietary Industry 4.0 platform: TEAMPLAY - help address operational, optimization, and performance challenges faced by industries, be it in manufacturing, oil & gas, chemical & process, food & beverages, or metals & mining. These applications harness the capabilities of artificial intelligence, machine learning, physical and knowledge modeling, and visualizations for analyses on real-time and historical big data. TEAMPLAY applications provide analytics, insights, trends, decision support, and predictions to help improve performance and reduce downtime or losses.

We are looking for best of the best cloud/site reliability engineers with 3+ years of experience for our IIS applications. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Implement observability solutions to provide visibility into the performance and health of systems.
• Use tools like Terraform or Pulumi to define and manage infrastructure as code, enabling the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure resources.
• Work to improve system reliability through practices such as fault tolerance and disaster recovery planning.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle and improve overall efficiency and quality.
• Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solutions.
• Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large distributed software applications.

Technology Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field with 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and IaC (e.g. Terraform, Pulumi).
• Good understanding of Linux Administration and Networking.
• Comfortable with at least one programming language (preferably TypeScript or Python).
• Cloud native application architecture and selection of right cloud services.
• Experience running software in the cloud preferably Azure and being on call.
• Growth mentality, willingness to share ideas and continuously improve yourself and the team around you.
• Self motivated individuals who take pride in their work.
• Any certifications (Azure or Kubernetes) is a plus.
