Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure. The role requires a deep understanding of networking technologies, protocols, and security practices. The Network Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our network environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain wired and wireless network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other network devices.
• Configure and optimize network protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and VPNs to ensure efficient data transmission and network security.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot network issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and optimize network performance.
• Perform network capacity planning and upgrade activities to support the organization's growth and evolving business needs.
• Implement and enforce network security measures, including access control, firewall policies, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability assessments.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network infrastructure with other systems and services, including cloud platforms, virtualization environments, and enterprise applications.
• Create and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in networking and security to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and assist in their professional development.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network emergencies outside of regular business hours as needed.
