Legal Advisor

We are looking for a highly experienced Legal Advisor to join our team in Qatar. As a Legal Advisor, you will be responsible for providing legal assistance and guidance to our company on a wide range of legal matters. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our business operations are conducted in compliance with local laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law and a deep understanding of the legal landscape in Qatar.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice and support to the company on various legal issues.
2. Review and draft legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies.
3. Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry standards.
4. Assist in negotiating and structuring business deals and transactions.
5. Represent the company in legal proceedings, including litigation and arbitration.
6. Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to identify and mitigate legal risks.
8. Provide training to employees on legal matters and compliance.
9. Build and maintain relationships with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Legal Advisor or similar role.
2. Strong knowledge of corporate law and regulations in Qatar.
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
5. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
6. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
7. Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
8. Experience in the private sector is preferred.
9. Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
10. Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
