Job Purpose 


The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing and reporting Misk Initiatives incubator, that aims to transform nonprofit initiatives into registered organization. PM will also be responsible for developing and implementing ideas for continuous improvement as well as leading selected projects to improve processes. Reporting to the NPOs Incubators and Accelerators Program Manager, this role will play a central role in executing all business projects.


Duties and Responsibilities 


The responsibilities of the Planning and Impact Project Manager include, but are not limited to: 


1. Planning & Impact Management:


● Planning the operations of Initiatives Incubator 


● Develops and/or implements leading practice processes for Initiatives Incubator 


● Ensuring that performance and goals for Incubator are well planned. 


● Review selection process to ensure the right selection of initiatives 


● Put the right goals for incubators to ensure the proper project impact. 


● Identify potential partners that can leverage incubator and increase its impact 


● Identify potential activities and roadshows that increase incubator engagement and increase the quality of applicants. 


● Prepares periodic updates and reports outlining the progress towards meeting key performance indicators 


● Develop and enhance impact assessment framework for incubator, and measure project performance against framework 


2. Project Management :


● Plans, manages, and completes projects on time, on budget, from initial concept and design through implementation and completion 


● Reports on project progress and performance plan 


● Manages project risk by defining project requirements, scope and taking early action to resolve problems 


● Supports the Planning and Impact Program Manager in the development of frameworks for project evaluation and monitoring, including indicator development and reporting 


● Communicates and presents project plans and outcomes to employees and management 2 


● Works with external vendors on selected projects (incl. vendor selection, vendor management, acting as vocal point of contact to vendors) 


3. Continuous improvement:


● Reviews the performance reporting regularly and suggest ways for improvement. 


● Helps teams understand organizational and functional KPIs and targets setting process to monitor and review the performance through regular feedback and reviews to drive strong performance culture within the organization 


● Updates and monitors internal KPIs dashboard for anomalies; conducts in-depth investigations to analyze the cause and works with Program Manager to ensure the gaps are minimized 


● Communicates and monitors quality management programs in order to ensure that all initiatives lead to an improvement in quality / performance and an overall quality culture, ensuring that teams are aware of its performance versus quality management objectives 


4. Knowledge Management:


● Keeps Knowledge Management system up to date by working with stakeholders throughout Misk to codify best practice processes and procedure. 


● Continuously update project manuals and policies and procedures. 


5. Policies, Processes & Procedures:


● Continuously update project manuals and policies and procedures. 


● Recommends improvements to Planning and Impact function, namely in easing working relationship with Misk teams, addressing their needs. 


6. Related Assignments:


● Performs other related duties or assignments as directed


Stakeholder engagement Internal: Program managers in Misk Community, project managers in other tracks, support functions teams including Business Development, Procurement and technology. External: different enablers in the ecosystem, including regulators, universities, NPOs entities, CSR programs, etc.


Qualifications


 Education:


o Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, engineering or any related field 


o Project management certifications is a plus 


o MSc. or MBA are a plus 


o Language: English and Arabic language skills 


Experience:


● 5+ years of Project management experience 


● 5+ years in working in nonproift ecosystem 


● 3+ years of experience in working in Incubators and Accelerators for nonprofits or for startups 


● Experience in building and running Incubators and Accelerators 


● Expertise in social entrepreneurship knowledge and ecosystem 


● Strategy and business consulting experience, understanding practices such as change management, performance analysis, business planning and reporting 


● Ability to lead and work as a team 


● Communication skills, both oral and verbal 


● Strong problem-solving skills. Target orientation, drive for results and success, persistence despite obstacles and opposition 


● Ability to lead vendors and work closely with them. 


● Driven by KPIs and measurable output 


● Good stakeholder management, both internally and externally 


● “Doer” – strong track record of implementation-focused work
