QS C&A Section Head / Manager

The QS C&A Section Head/Manager is responsible for overseeing the Quantity Surveying and Costing & Analysis section within the organization. They play a key role in managing the financial aspects of construction projects and ensuring they are completed within budget.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage a team of Quantity Surveyors and Cost Analysts, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.
2. Prepare and review project cost estimates, budgets, and schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
3. Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve project profitability.
4. Review and approve contractor invoices and change orders, ensuring they are in line with project budgets and timelines.
5. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to provide cost-related advice and support throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to negotiate favorable pricing and terms.
7. Monitor and report on project financial performance, highlighting any variances or issues to senior management.
8. Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quantity surveying and cost analysis to continuously improve department processes and procedures.
