Senior Video Editor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Video Editor with exceptional leadership abilities to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of video editing, possess excellent communication skills to interface with clients, and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities to guide and inspire our on-ground team in Riyadh.

Primary duties and Responsibilities

• Video Editing: Lead the editing process from start to finish, ensuring high-quality output that meets client specifications and project deadlines.
• Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their vision and requirements, and effectively communicating project progress and updates.
• Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and direction to the editing team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Quality Control: Review and approve all edited content to maintain consistency, accuracy, and adherence to APCO’s standards.
• Project Management: Coordinate with project managers to allocate resources, manage workflow, and prioritize tasks to meet project milestones.
• Technical Expertise: Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and technologies in video editing to enhance workflow efficiency and creative output.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments such as production, creative, and marketing to ensure seamless integration of video content across various platforms.

Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in film production, Media Studies, or relevant field.
• Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of editing styles and techniques.
• Exceptional proficiency in video editing software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate, inspire, and empower team members to achieve their full potential.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative vision and attention to detail, with a keen eye for storytelling and visual aesthetics.
• Experience working in a creative agency or production studio environment.
• Knowledge of motion graphics, visual effects, and color grading techniques.

Work Conditions:

• Office environment is general office setting
• Travel will be required
• Must reside in Riyadh or be willing to relocate
