What We’re Looking For
- A Culinary Degree or
equivalent experience in a similar role is preferred.
- A proven track record of 3-5 years
as a Chef De Cuisine in a Luxury Hotel environment, delivering Sensational
Experiences synonymous with FIVE's Award-Winning Service Quality.
- Outstanding
Pre-Opening experience in setting up dynamic, seamless and fast-paced Kitchen
Operations is advantageous.
- Impeccable Communication
Skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English (Additional languages
such as Arabic, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Russian or Mandarin are a
Plus).
- Previous experience
in Forbes or Leading Quality Assurance (LQA)-Rated properties will be
Advantageous, demonstrating a Strong Commitment to Luxury Service Standards and
Processes.
- Next-Level
Organisational and Leadership skills, effectively leading and inspiring the
FIVE Tribe to New Heights.
- Exceptional Time
Management and Multi-Tasking skills to oversee a busy kitchen and deliver a

- Extensive Knowledge
of diverse International Cuisine, expert Culinary Techniques, and contemporary
Food Trends.

knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) principles and
practices, and a thorough understanding of Health and Safety Regulations, Food
Hygiene Standards, and Best Practices in Restaurant Operations.
- A Meticulous Eye for
Detail, ensuring every aspect of Food Quality and Presentation is perfectly
curated.

Responsibilities
- Builds, Mentors and Leads a Boundary-Breaking Culinary
Team, instilling a culture of Collaboration, Creativity, and Culinary
Excellence.
- Fosters a Positive and Inclusive work environment,
addresses any Staff Concerns or Performance Matters effectively, and maintains
the Integrity of our FIVE Tribe.
- Conducts engaging Training Sessions to elevate the
team's Culinary Skills, refine their Techniques, and inspire the Creation of
sublime dishes.
- Drives Creativity and Innovation within the Culinary
Team, facilitates bold Brainstorming Sessions and crafts an exceptional Menu
Development process.
- Supervises the day-to-day Culinary Operations at FIVE’s
world-class Venues and ensures ‘FIVE-Star’ food Quality, Presentation, and Consistency.
- Implements Standardised Recipes, Portion Sizes and Plating
Guidelines to deliver a Sensational and Consistent ‘FIVE-Styled’ Guest
Experience.
- Monitors kitchen activities, from Food Preparation
to Plating, to orchestrate a Seamless and Efficient workflow, minimising wait
times and ensuring Next-Level dining experiences.
- Leads by example in maintaining an Impeccable,
Organised, and Well-Equipped Kitchen Area, adhering to the highest Safety and Cleanliness
protocols, and embodying the First-in-Class Standards at FIVE.
- Innovates and curates Menu Offerings that captivate
our Discerning Clientele, harmonising Local Flavours, global Culinary Trends,
and Dietary Preferences in a Bespoke Culinary Experience.
- Collaborates closely with the Executive Chef and
Sous Chefs, championing Hand-Crafted Recipes that align with FIVE's visionary
Culinary Philosophy.
- Co-creates Special Menus for Events, Promotions, and
Private Dining Experiences with the Executive Chef, ensuring an unforgettable
extravaganza for our Guests.
- Stays abreast of Industry Trends, incorporating the
latest Ingredients and innovative Cooking Techniques into the Menu Development
process, reflecting the Disruptive Spirit that defines FIVE.
- Works Efficiently with the Front-Of-House Team,
ensuring flawless Service Delivery, timely Communication, and graceful Resolution
of Guest Feedback.
- Upholds Premium Quality Standards for all Food
Products, adhering rigorously to the strictest Hygiene and Sanitation protocols,
showcasing our Industry-Leading commitment to excellence.
- Manages Inventory with a discerning eye for detail,
sourcing the finest ingredients, maintaining stock levels, and executing cost
control measures in line with FIVE’s Uncompromising Standards.
- Contributes to achieving and
surpassing Financial Targets by managing Food Costs, executing precise Portion
Control, and championing Waste Reduction Initiatives, reinforcing our
Competitive Advantage as Industry Leaders.
