Engineer - Mechanical

About the role:

Mott MacDonald is looking for a Engineer Mechanical for its office based in Dubai, UAE

Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:

• Experience of API 650 tanks, API / ASME pumps for Oil Storage Terminals is a must. Candidate is required to undertake conceptual, front-end, detailed engineering design and reviews for Oil, Gas, Petrochemical storage and handling. Experience with aviation fuel and NFPA based fire fighting equipment is an added advantage.
• Generation and review of project documents including:
• Equipment datasheets (Tanks, Pressure Vessels, Mixers, Pumps, Compressors, Loading Arms)
• Engineering Specifications
• Material Requisitions
• Tank drawings
• Generation of FIDIC based Tender Documentation
• Vendor offer evaluation
• Evaluation of bids for PC Contract

Candidates Specification: 

• Typical duties and responsibilities will include preparation of studies and reports, mechanical calculations, datasheets, specifications and drawings.
• B.E / B. Tech Mechanical Engineering 
• Demonstrable experience in Tank Terminals for Oil / Petrochemical storage
• Strong communication skills to interact with other engineering disciplines and clients.
• A team player capable of working with, managing and motivating others to consistently deliver.
• Willingness to contribute to and develop technical knowledge networks
