The IT Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our IT infrastructure, supporting our business objectives, and driving technological innovation. This person will lead a team of talented professionals, serving as a mentor and career advisor, fostering their growth and development within the organization. This role requires a unique blend of technical acumen, leadership skills, and strategic thinking to manage our diverse and talented engineering teams.They will be responsible for operational oversight of multiple engineering teams including Network, Unified Communications, Release and Deployment and M365. Collaboration with Operations, Development, and Lines of Business Owners will be required along with excellent interpersonal communication skills.


Essential Duties


Oversees the day to day operations supporting RSM’s users. Set clear objectives, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor progress to ensure timely and successful completion of projects and initiatives.


Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and career growth. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages creativity, innovation, and continuous learning.


Collaborate with international cross-functional teams to align engineering projects with organizational goals and priorities.


Drive the adoption of best practices in engineering processes and methodologies.


Manage resources effectively, including budgeting and procurement of necessary tools and technologies.


Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in IT governance and compliance, ensuring adherence to relevant standards and regulations with an Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS


Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience


TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS


  • Strong technical expertise across multiple IT domains including Networking, communications, desktop and cloud applications

Special Requirements Specific to Job


  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building and nurturing diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across time zones and manage the challenges of remote team collaboration.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously required
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated problem solving skills required experience in managing distributed, international teams in a technical environment.
  • High level of adaptability and flexibility in dealing with dynamic project requirements and schedules.

EXPERIENCE


5+ years of experience Managing or leading engineering teams in a large-scale technology environment
